Understanding TinEye Results
Match Score (0-100): How closely the matched image resembles the uploaded photo. Higher scores (90-100) indicate very strong matches, while lower scores (20-40) might be resized or cropped versions of the same image. Important: A low score doesn't always mean it's not a match - an exact image resized to a thumbnail may score only 22-25, while two completely different images might score 50+. Review the overlay to see the actual visual comparison.
Query Match Percent (0-100): The percentage of the uploaded photo that matches the result image. A low percentage (10-20%) means only a small portion matches (like a logo, text, or background element). High percentages (80-100%) suggest the entire image matches. Use this to distinguish between partial matches (logo only) and full image matches.
Total Matches: The total number of places where this image (or similar versions) was found online. Higher numbers (10+) suggest the image is widely distributed, which may indicate it's not original.
Stock Matches: Number of matches from stock photo sites (Shutterstock, Alamy, 123RF, etc.). Any stock match = immediate block. These photos are copyrighted and available for purchase/licensing.
Collection Matches: Number of matches from image collections (Flickr, Wikipedia, etc.). These could be legitimate user photos that were uploaded to those sites, OR stolen images. Review carefully - check the domain and context to determine if it's the user's own photo or stolen.
Domain: The website where the match was found. Multiple matches from the same domain might indicate the original source. Common domains: stock photo sites (block), social media (may be legitimate), news sites (could be stolen).
Overlay URL: A visual comparison tool showing how the matched image aligns with the uploaded photo. Click the overlay link to see a side-by-side comparison that adjusts for crops, flips, rotations, and resizing. This is the best way to verify if images are actually the same.
Backlink: The URL of the webpage where the match was found. Click to see the context - this helps determine if the image is being used legitimately or stolen.
Tags:Stock = from stock photo sites (block immediately).
Collection = from image collections (review needed - could be legitimate or stolen).
π‘ Tips: Click "Show All Matches" to see beyond the top 5 results. Review matches with high scores (90+) or multiple stock/collection tags most carefully. Use the overlay URL to visually compare images - this is often more reliable than just the score.

What happens when a forum is inactive?
×
Forums page (Community Forums)
Only categories with status active are shown. If you set a category to inactive:
Top-level forum β It no longer appears in the main forums grid. Users cannot open it or see its subcategories.
Subcategory β It no longer appears in its parentβs subcategory list and is not in the βNew Postβ forum dropdown. Users cannot open it or post there.
Existing posts in that category β The category is no longer in the list used for navigation. If someone has a link or uses back/forward to a post in that category, they may see βForum category not found.β The post rows stay in the database but are not reachable from the normal UI.

Inactive categories still appear in this Forum Categories table with status inactive. You can edit them and set status back to active to bring them back.
Summary: Making a forum inactive hides it from the Community Forums and blocks new posts there; it does not delete the category or its posts. You can turn it back on anytime by editing the category and setting status to active.
